It’s clear that you love what you do. I get that all the time from clients and followers. It’s true. Who wouldn’t love helping hard-working lawyers build a dream practice?

I was humbled and honored that the Linkedin Editors selected my post on leadership to feature in the news round up.

I take the perspective that if you decide to devoted your life to helping others solve their legal problems and live a better life, then you deserve to be joyful and well paid.

If you decide to take the risk and start your own business to serve your community, then you get to create an environment that is conducive to you doing your best work, including hiring people who get you.

You deserve to have a law practice that runs smoothly whether you’re there or not. And, the best part is you can have all of that if you’re willing to embrace the new way of leading a law practice.

I love talking about how emotional intelligence can drive growth. Or, that delegation is a development tool to grow your team’s potential.

It’s deeply satisfying to watch a leader- owner or associate- who started as a poor delegator – grab a hold of the concepts and tools and make it work (thanks, Tim Gunn) To hear that pride in the voice and the amazement that nothing bad happened is my psychic pay.

I’ll be honest. I’m out for world domination. The more leaders I help, the more the workplace looks like a friendly place.
